The Center for Intellectual Property Law & Information Technology (CIPLITŪ) at the College of Law was established in 1997 to provide an innovative and intellectually satisfying IP/IT law school experience to DePaul students. It offers a one-of-a kind summer job placement program, one of the richest IP/IT curriculums in the country, as well as stimulating extracurricular programs for students, intellectual property scholars and attorneys, both locally and nationally. For the past seven years, CIPLIT has been the highest ranked IP program in the Midwest and one of the top ranked IP programs nationally, according to U.S. News & World Report.
