DePaul and the city of Chicago fit like hand in glove. We have an alumni network of more than 130,000 professionals - nearly 65 percent living in the metropolitan area. This creates myriad possibilities for you to network with and to be mentored by DePaul alumni who truly understand the value of a DePaul degree. No matter what you study, you'll be connected.

For example, the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business has deep relationships with the many world-renowned businesses headquartered here, including 28 of the largest Fortune 500 companies. The School of Music and The Theatre School share faculty with the world-class music and theatre organizations that call Chicago home, including the Lyric Opera, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Steppenwolf Theatre, just to name a few.

28 of the Fortune 500 companies are headquartered in the Chicago area. The College of Computing and Digital Media has grown to have the largest graduate program in the nation, largely due to its many partnerships with Chicago's dynamic technology sector. In fact, Forbes recently ranked Chicago as the nation's fourth largest region for technology. Opportunities for our students and graduates abound.

Graduates of DePaul's College of Law permeate the city, from the bench and governmental offices to major corporations and prestigious law firms. The college's 12,000 alumni include state and federal judges, municipal, county and state leaders and two generations of Chicago mayors.

The diversity of programs and concentrations offered by graduate Liberal Arts and Sciences programs- from public relations and advertising to nursing to international studies-is mirrored by the number of opportunities available with area employers, ranging from governmental and international organizations to major pharmaceutical corporations and nationally respected consulting firms and agencies.

The School of Education is Chicago's education partner, involved in programs with more than 150 Chicago-area schools. It sponsors or is involved in a host of projects that provide unique learning experiences for professionals. Education professionals can advance their careers through a wide range of coursework leading to certification, while the career-change program enables other professionals to earn the credentials to become educators.

DePaul's Career Center will help you start forging your own career connections as soon as you enroll. In addition to advising and assessment, the Career Center provides mentoring, networking, internship and placement services. If you are enrolled in our business school, you'll make additional connections through Kellstadt's dedicated Career Management Center and the DePaul MBA Association, the largest MBA association in the country.

Yet our strongest connection to Chicago is our alumni network of more than 130,000 professionals - nearly 65 percent living in the metropolitan area. Students and recent graduates in each of our schools and colleges can network with and be mentored by fellow DePaul alumni who truly understand the value of the DePaul degree.
