One of the ways to distinguish DePaul from other major universities is that our faculty members emphasize a student-focused learning environment.
Here, student-faculty interaction is important. With more than 1,500 dedicated faculty members, classes are taught by professors - not teaching assistants. In fact, nearly 70 percent of our undergraduate classes have fewer than 30 students, allowing you to get the personal attention that stems from small class-size.
About 85 percent of our faculty members hold Ph.D.s or the highest degree available in their fields. These leaders have attained their expertise though real-world experience and research - bringing unique and insightful perspectives to the classroom every day.
