The Department of Nursing is part of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and offers undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing as well as a variety of health science courses for non-majors. We offer an RN-BS completion program for registered nurses who want to complete a Bachelor's degree.
Our students comprise a diverse group of adult learners with a variety of career interests and future goals. Registered nurses come to advance their careers and gain greater autonomy with a bachelor's degree. Our graduates have successfully achieved positions as bedside nurses, case managers, community health nurses, traveling nurses, unit managers, clinical educators, educational administrators, chief nursing officers, research coordinators, and advanced practice nurses in joint and private practice.
