Direct Loan Electronic Promissory Note (EMPN)

Complete an Electronic Master Promissory Note (EMPN) if you are a first-time borrower of a Federal Direct Subsidized or Unsubsidized Loan.   

Grad/Law students must complete a separate Grad Plus Electronic Master Promissory Note (EMPN).

Direct Loan Entrance Counseling

Complete the Entrance Counseling requirement for all Direct Stafford Loans.

First time Grad Plus Loan borrowers must also complete the online Entrance Counseling Session.  Select the "Combination - Stafford and Plus Loans" option and you will complete both requirements. 

Grad PLUS Application Supplement Forms

Grad/Law students must print, complete and submit the Grad Plus Application Supplement form to DePaul.

Federal TEACH Grant

If you are a Grad student enrolled in an eligible program of study and would like to request consideration for the Federal TEACH Grant, you must complete and submit the Request for TEACH Grant Consideration Form for 2009-2010 to the Office of Financial Aid.
