It is important for you to understand the expenses that you are going to incur while you are in school. Once you know what your expenses are, you will need to know how to handle them and how to use your financial aid funds to their best advantage. This section offers you some tools to help you get your budget under control and keep it there.

Tuition and fees and housing expenses are one component of your educational expenses.  Understanding and using the DePaul tuition structure can work to your advantage when planning your educational program and anticipating costs.  You can learn more about costs, maximizing your tuition and aid, and DePaul payment plans in this section.

Personal expenses also are part of your educational costs.  Learning to manage day-to-day expenses is a critical skill to acquire.  DePaul’s Financial Fitness Program provides free services, resources and tools to help you manage costs from your first year through graduation and beyond. There are a variety of workshops, confidential one-on-one financial counseling and accessible resources and tools.
