The Arthur J. Schmitt Academic Center, commonly known as "SAC," houses academic and administrative offices, including the School of Education, the College of Communication, the departments of history and mathematical sciences, Parking Services and DePaul Central, where students can take care of registration, financial aid, enrollment, billing and more, all in one convenient location.

Also home to the student social and study area known as The Pit. Coffee and other refreshments are served up at The Pit’s Bean Caffè.

The Arthur J. Schmitt Academic Center (SAC) opened in 1967, and underwent a $1.2 million expansion in 1981.
