Video Guidelines - Here's how this works

HOW TO IMPRESS THE JUDGES AND WIN YOURSELF FAME AND FORTUNE
We are looking for videos that most creatively and authentically depict the DePaul student experience. Inspiration and innovation count here, people. The judges are looking for videos that provide a unique insight into life on campus; a short story told with the distinct voice that only a student can offer.

Judges will evaluate the entries based on 1) integration of the requirements listed below; 2) how engaging and entertaining your video is; and 3) overall creative and technical excellence.

THERE ARE RULES, PEOPLE
All submissions must:
  • Feature an element of each of the following at DePaul: academics, student/social life, and Vincentian mission
  • Include a shot of at least one iconic Chicago landmark or image
  • Be a minimum of one minute and maximum of three minutes in length
  • Be in good taste (i.e., don't send us anything you wouldn't show to your mom)

OTHER IMPORTANT STUFF
  • The contest is open to any current DePaul student, undergraduate or graduate
  • More than one entry per student is not allowed
  • The contest opens on April 13 and closes May 15
  • Keep a copy of your entry. All finalists will need to submit their video to DePaul directly (outside of YouTube).
